January 21st, 2013...MLK DAY AND OBAMA PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION! What did it mean to THE WORLD AND TO MYSELF!

Good Morning Everyone! I'm telling you I am FIRED UP IN JESUS NAME! I have seen the GLORY! A Man, so many years ago, stood in Washington DC and talked about A DREAM! That DREAM became REAL YESTERDAY! It was REAL, yes in 2008, but THIS TIME, it was DIFFERENT! Seeing Barack Obama Sworn in on MLK DAY did something for me. Not even just me, seeing Barack Obama Sworn in where the WORLD COULD SEE IT on MLK DAY, did something FOR THE WORLD! I thank the LORD on this morning! Great Opportunities and Amazing Doors are about to be OPENED in Jesus Name!

WHAT YESTERDAY MEANT TO THE WORLD

January 21st, 2013 will always lie in the hearts of all Americans as a Day the World stood still for all the RIGHT THINGS! There was no fighting, no bickering, no hating on each other, it was all LOVE IN AMERICA! Even if it was just for those few hours, Americans came together, huddled around their TV's, loved ones, and all Americans, no matter their color, creed, race, and background, we all enjoyed God's Glory of America the Beautiful. A Former Drug Dealer watched as his Wife sang "The Star Spangled Banner" to the World, sitting on the same podium as the President of the United States. A Man who was told by his own parents that his Writings would get him no where in life as a young boy, found himself reading his own written poem during the Presidential Inauguration. 

What did yesterday, January 21st, 2013 mean to the WORLD...IT MEANT UNPRECEDENTED OPPORTUNITY! My mother always told me "You can do anything that you put your mind too!" Now, when I look at America, and Barack Obama as our President, I know that's true! There was a day and time it was CRAZY to even think about a Minority, not just a Black Man, but a Minority as even a SERIOUS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE! Now we have a Man that even some of our kids can say is not only the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT, but the ONLY President that they have known, which is a MINORITY! If you have kids born after 2008, they don't know about hundreds of years of White Male Supremacy in the Oval Office! All they know is, a Black Man was President and if he can get THERE, I CAN GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE! We have to Seize this Moment with our children! Let them know that if they work hard enough, if they believe in God and with themselves, they can be all that their little minds can imagine. This is the World's Time to do amazing things! If you can SEE IT, YOU CAN DO IT!

January 21st, 2013 will always be remembered as a day that I feel within myself, something for me and my future changed. I feel like just looking at that Man, Barack Obama, God's Chosen Man, to run the United States one more time, shows that you do not just get there by hard work, you have to BELIEVE IT CAN HAPPEN! I feel that the World Believes in God more than ever now. To have Mrs. Evers-Williams pray IN JESUS NAME during that Inauguration Prayer, gave me a sense of PEACE in my Mind that the United States will rise again! The United States can be a Great Nation, under GOD! YES, things are going to happen, but we can come together and make the US a better place for us all to live it. 

I'm not going to LIE, I did think yesterday "What if this was ROMNEY who got into Office?" Where would the US be, how would we feel, how would Black People feel to see him sworn into office? God's Man is in Office Right Now. NO, I do not believe in everything Obama talked about on yesterday, but God always puts into office who needs to be there for his American People. I saw over the last four years even in my own life how having this Man in office, a Man that I know truly cares for the bettering of the American People, has brought me to a place that I never could have dreamed of. I was one of the Blessed People that had the opportunity to get a home with the low interest rates and Homeowners Tax Credit. I wasn't even looking to get a house, it was GOD that told me "Go get a House!" The opportunities that Barack Obama has placed out there for America's is only something I know God's Chosen Man for this time could have only thought about for his people. Jesus runs this country, and He puts in charge who will be best fit to help better his people. Let us continue to lift up Barack Obama in prayer. To see all of this happen on MLK DAY, it truly breath taking. Everyone in the World will remember what they were doing on yesterday! GO GET A NEWS PAPER TODAY, you want to show your Grandkids that you saw that day for yourself! God Bless America and lets continue to work hard together as a nation and become the United States of America that God intended us to be! What did it mean to YOU! LET ME KNOW!
