THE HYPE
Going into the Super Bowl, it was one filled with many story lines & hear were the biggest ones leading up to the Big Game:
1. New Orleans Host The 2013 Super Bowl! Will they bring in Money or will it cost more for them to hold the Super Bowl?
2. The San Francisco 49ers, Coached By Coach Jim Harbaugh vs Baltimore Ravens, Coached By John Harbaugh! BROTHERS! AKA THE HARBOWL AKA THE HARBAUGH BOWL
3. The Young Gun Colin Kapernick (49ers) vs The Doubted Veteran Joe Flacco (Ravens)
4. Ray Lewis' Last Dance: The 17 year All-World Linebacker going into his last game as an NFL Player
5. The Return of Moss: Randy Moss Comes Out Of Retire for one more Shot at Glory
6. The BEYONCE BOWL: Beyonce Schedule to tear up the Stage during the Pepsi Halftime Show

Super Bowl 47 began with Jennifer Hudson singing "America The Beautiful" with the Sandy Hook Choir. These kids and J-Hud sung amazingly and I'll be honest, I was glad I was in the kitchen cooking during this because I begin to get a little teary eyed. All the things these children have went through in the last month & a half & to have them singing on the World biggest stage was truly amazing. Alicia Keys Came with a Stellar "Star Spangled Banner & it was TIME FOR THE BIG GAME! RAVENS VS 49ERS!
A TALE OF TWO HALVES
The First Half of this football game was pure dominance by The Baltimore Ravens. It was as if the Ravens were in their own World & the 49ers had not even shown up for the game! Causing fumbles, Ed Reed with a Big Interception, and the Ravens Cruised into the Locker Room at Half Time 21-6.
The Second Half Started off with a BANG as Jacoby Jones runs back the opening half kick off 108 yards! The Run back was so EXPLOSIVE that he turned off the LIGHTS in the SuperDome! WHAT?!? NO, REALLY! About 2 minutes into the 2nd half, as a play was about to be ran, half of the lights in the SuperDome when COMPLETELY OFF! The Super Bowl went DARK! The Game was delayed for 34 mins & a true Momentum SHIFT HAPPENED! Once the lights were back on, the 49ers put up 17 points within the next 4 minutes of the game. The game was a STRUGGLE all the way until the end! The Ravens took a self imposed Safety, leaving the 49ers with 4 seconds left for a possible place kick return for the 49ers. But they could not get into field goal position with anytime left on the clock & the Baltimore Ravens came out with a 34-31 Win in Super Bowl 47! Ray Lewis went out a Champion after 17 years playing football in the National Football League! Super Bowl MVP was Joe Flacco, which he played a great game, but that Jacoby Jones had himself a Tecmo Super Bowl Type of Game! (You Nintendo Fans should remember that one!)
WAIT...WHAT ABOUT BEYONCE?
Let me say THIS...I have never seen a game disrespected so much by an ARTIST who was only going to be on for 20 minutes in my whole life! It was like it was an HBCU Football game! Everyone wanted to see the Halftime Show! The Beyonce Bowl! Hey, there's a football game during the Beyonce Concert on Super Bowl Sunday! FOOLISHNESS! Now, I'm not going to LIE, I thought Beyonce did very well! A lot of Special Effects, great to see Michelle & Kelly Pop Out of Now Where for a Destiny's Child Reunion! (KELLY ROWLAND, THOSE THIGHS, YES!!!) It was a good halftime show! Beyonce's "Point at me, I want to FEEL YOUR ENERGY" Comments towards the crowd...WEIRD! Illuminati?? Maybe! But they may have been the ones that cut the lights off too, who knows! But all & all a great performance!
My Grade for the 2013 Super Bowl 47 - I give it a B! If the Lights NEVER would have went out, it would have been one of the best Super Bowls ever! It never happened in my hometown of Indianapolis last year, BRING IT BACK, BRING IT BACK, in my Young Jeezy Voice! WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE BIG GAME? Hope you enjoyed the RECAP!
